The Audio/Visual Committee is responsible for keeping an inventory of the chapter’s AV equipment. It ensures the filming of Chapter meetings and events for placement on the website. This includes photography.

The Communications Committee is responsible for the content of the website including the posting of articles that are appraisal/assessment related, but human interest, humor, and IAAO specific articles are also valued. This Committee is also responsible for the posting of job postings and announcements.

The Education Committee is responsible for putting together the course offerings for members and others in the ad valorem profession.

The Events Committee is responsible for researching venues for the local chapter meetings, researching charities in which members can donate or participate as volunteers with the main goal of community involvement, and creating ideas on hosting events to benefit the other committees.

The Fundraising Committee is responsible for all fundraising efforts and to seek sponsors for the Chapter from Appraisal Industry leaders and vendors.

The Information Technology Committee is responsible for the maintenance of the chapter website. This committee also recommends and implements behind the scenes programming as needed. The content of the majority of the articles are to be appraisal/assessment related, but human interest, humor, and IAAO specific articles are also valued. This Committee is also responsible for updating and maintenance of the website.

The main function of the Membership Committee is to keep an accurate roll of chapter and national membership. The Membership Committee is responsible for recruiting people to join the local and national chapters, encouraging enrollment in chapter sponsored courses; and, through research and surveys, suggest ways to the Executive Board on how to increase and maintain membership.

The Bruce Belon Scholarship Committee is responsible for evaluating applications for scholarship funds for compliance, evaluating the candidate’s contributions to the local chapter and the national chapter of IAAO in general, and making recommendations for acceptance or rejection to the Executive Board.

The U40 Committee is responsible for the outreach of industry professionals under 40 years of age and to prompt their involvement in the national IAAO and State Chapter.
