2025 Election
It is time to elect the members of the 2025 Executive Board. Below are the candidates and their Bios. The election will be open November 25 though December 6. Winners will be announced December 9, 2024.
Darren Rasmussen
Darren Rasmussen is a seasoned valuation expert with 30 years of experience and 17 years dedicated to assessment. He holds the IAAO AAS designation and is certified at Level III by the Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR). Having served as AZIAAO Vice President in 2015 and then as the President of AZIAAO in 2016, along with chairing the education committee, Darren understands how to facilitate opportunity and growth for our chapter and its members. He is passionate about enhancing statewide educational opportunities in appraisal, tax policy, leadership, and related assessment topics. His commitment to professional development and collaboration positions him as a strong candidate for Vice President of AZIAAO.
Sue Droubie
Suzanne Droubie was elected as the first female Assessor of Pima County in 2020. With over 26 years of combined experience as a taxpayer consultant, mass appraiser, fee appraiser, and real estate specialist, Assessor Droubie brings a wealth of expertise and leadership skills. Her dedication to providing exceptional customer service makes the Assessor's Office a valuable resource for the constituents of Pima County.
Outside of the public sector, Suzanne served as the Vice President of Property Tax Services for a national Fortune 100 Company, advising colleagues, associates, and clients on all aspects of commercial property tax. Her extensive experience in both the Assessor's Office and the private sector provides Assessor Droubie with a unique perspective, allowing her to ensure fairness to all County taxpayers.
Teresa Mack
My name is Teresa Mack, and I am running for the position of AZIAAO Treasurer. I currently serve as a CAMA Specialist with the Mohave County Assessor’s Office, and I am also the acting Treasurer for AZIAAO. I have been a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) for four years.
I am actively working towards my MAS Designation, and I am a certified Level 2 appraiser with an AAS in Accounting. Arizona has been my home for all 52 years of my life, having lived in Mohave County the entire time. I was born and raised in Kingman, AZ, and am deeply committed to serving my community.
As Treasurer, I am committed to ensuring transparency, accuracy, and efficiency in financial matters. My previous experience has equipped me with the skills to maintain accurate records, prepare financial reports, and oversee audits.
In addition to my technical skills, I believe in fostering open communication and collaboration to achieve financial goals. I am eager to contribute to the success of AZIAAO by ensuring sound financial management and supporting its long-term growth.

Roxanne Drye
Roxanne Drye is currently Appraiser III for the Apache County Assessor's Office. She started this career towards the end of 2018 after transferring careers from a 911 Dispatcher. Through her time with the Apache County Assessor's Office, she has been an Improvement Appraiser, Land & Agriculture Appraiser and assisting the Chief Appraiser in training new Appraisers coming into the office.
Roxanne is a Certified Level 2 Appraiser, is on the AZIAAO Educational Committee and Article 24 Committee with Apache County. She has been the Secretary for the AZIAAO this past year.
Roxanne has been an Arizona resident since 1991. Before moving to Arizona, she spent many years living in many states and a couple of countries. Outside of work she spends time with her family and dogs.
Gloria Morales
Gloria Morales is currently the Valuation Coordinator II for the Apache County Assessor's Office, and on the weekends, she also works at the local Airport.
Here in the Assessor's Office, Gloria works to transfer all Recorded Documents, while also handling our splits and combines for Apache County. Prior to working with the Assessor's office, Gloria worked for Trinty Service Group helping cook and feed the inmates at the Apache County Jail, then a short time for Apache County Voter Registration office. For the past few years, until just recently, not only did she care for her family and work her daytime job, but after work was a waitress at a local restaurant, El Camino.
Gloria has lived her whole life in Apache County and plans to raise her family here as well. Gloria graduated from Saint John's High School in 2015, although she never wanted to go to college, she loves learning new skills and works hard at everything she does.
Outside of work Gloria enjoys watching movies, baking, going hunting, camping, planning parties, and spending her time with family and friends. Gloria and her boyfriend Garrett have three beautiful daughters, Peyton (3), Maci (5), Natalie (15). Gloria has always been committed to family, work, and her community.
